About Us: Derbyshire Parent Carer Voice (DPCV) is a registered charity comprised of parent and carer volunteers for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Our forum serves to amplify our members’ lived experiences and facilitate impactful collaboration to improve education, health, and social care services.

Our Vision: Through inclusive engagement, co-production, and collaboration with stakeholders, we strive for measurable improvements in services, empowering every child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to reach their full potential, and ensuring parents and carers are valued, heard, and supported.

Our Mission: To use our lived experiences to improve Health, Education, and Social Care services. We do this by providing our members with opportunities to:
